Reef Fish & Dive
Caters for 2–10 passengers
3100 Noosa Cat: SOUTHERN COMFORT
Reef Fish & Dive are the only operator offering SCUBA diving in the region.
DIVING: The Southern Great Barrier Reef offers is unique, it’s where cold and warm waters meet and the reef starts. Unlike our northern neighbours who enjoy mostly hard corals, conditions here are perfect for both hard and soft corals. Furthermore, being a little off the well beaten tourist track means that our marine environment doesn’t get trashed by 2 million backpackers a year. It really is pristine here.
FISHING: Red Emperor, Coral Trout, Red Throat and Grassy Sweet Lip, Spanish Mackerel and Nannygai, are just a few of the species on offer in the waters surrounding the Southern Great Barrier Reef. Reef Fish & Dive have a “keep your catch” policy so be sure to have an esky waiting for your prized reef fish. They can even put you in touch with one of our locals who will fillet the fish for you at a very reasonable price.
