1770 Festival
Celebrate Local History and Culture
The 1770 Festival is a lively annual event celebrating the region’s rich history, especially Captain Cook’s historic landing in 1770. The festival usually takes place in mid-April across Agnes Water and Seventeen Seventy, with many events held within a short 10-minute drive from Agnes Water Beach Club.
During the festival, visitors can enjoy live entertainment, historical re-enactments, markets, food stalls, and family-friendly activities that showcase the unique culture and heritage of the area. It’s a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the local community spirit while enjoying the beautiful coastal surroundings.
