A visit to 1770 Distillery is a must for anyone wanting to sample the spirit of Agnes Water—literally! Established as a boutique distillery, 1770 Distillery was founded to showcase the abundance of locally grown fruits and to offer a special experience for visitors and locals alike.

All liqueurs here are crafted using age-old artisan skills, handed down through generations of dedicated distillers. The process takes place in handmade copper pot stills, which are renowned for producing exceptionally smooth and flavourful spirits. Every bottle is made with fresh fruits, herbs, and spices sourced from the surrounding region, resulting in liqueurs that are bursting with unique, natural flavours.

The distillery is open Wednesday through Monday from 10am to 5pm (closed Tuesdays), and tastings are always free. Drop in to sample a range of delicious liqueurs, learn about the distilling process, and perhaps pick up a bottle or two as a special souvenir from your stay in Agnes Water and 1770.
